Marathon Training Calendar

Here is the Marathon Training Schedule that I will be using over the next 18 weeks.  This schedule was taken from Hal Higdon’s Marathon Training Guide http://122.moth1.hiwaay.net/marathon/MaraNovice1.html

I adapted the schedule to fit my own, switching some of the days of rest with other running days.  The important part is that I did not change the mileage or the long runs for the week, just simply the days on which I do them.  This training schedule is for the Novice Runner, and while I have a solid running base of over a year and have run a half-marathon before, this will be my first full-marathon.

My training begins today: Monday, January 30, 2012.  Let the running begin!
